Pets exist, and the game calls them helpful. Individual names, drop methods, and exact effects are not in the official description.
What the developer wrote
"Collect helpful pets" sits in the same feature list as rare-plant rolls, base building, breaking into bases, stealing, and earning money while you are away. That is enough to treat pets as a real collection, not a rumor. It is not enough to name a pet, a rarity, or a bonus.
What one session adds, and what it does not
In one play session the player reached a pets section and had a cat in their sights. That is a sighting of a target, not a confirmed species list, not a drop rate, and not proof the cat was obtained. Do not build a pet roster from that line.
No pet was tied to a rebirth requirement in the sets that were written down. Apple tree, sunflower, peach, and lemon are plants, not pets.
How to treat pets until a list exists
- Do not spend your first cash on a pet section you cannot price. Walls, a placed plant, and carry space after a rebirth have clearer jobs.
- Do not enter pet-luck or egg codes from Build a Base and Steal. That is a different game, and this experience has no confirmed code box.
- If you do obtain a pet, keep it with the rest of the collection you do not want stolen. The description does not say pets are immune to raids, and it does not say they can be stolen. Both are unknown.
When a pet name, price, or effect is actually shown in game, it belongs on a pet entry with those facts. Until then, pets stay a second collection track beside plants, officially helpful, and otherwise unpublished.
