A steal works only if the plant leaves with you. Reaching the plot is not the same as keeping the plant.
What a raid is
Another player's plants sit inside their base. You break in, take a plant, and keep it if you get out. Rare plants are the ones worth the trip, which is why those bases are the ones with stacked walls and wire. The official loop is explicit: break into other bases, steal plants, and protect yours.
There is no published raid button list for keyboard, mobile, or a weapon combo. Do not import bat, lock, or pet-combat steps from the other Roblox game Build a Base and Steal. Those controls belong to a different experience.
What the walls actually do to you
From the builder's side, the same session that stacked walls also described how a raid feels:
- A closed box stops a player from simply walking the plant out.
- Raiders can pick at walls on the way in.
- Three stacked layers were still jumpable, but slower, so the owner has time to notice.
- One extra top layer stopped the jump in that build.
- A fully layered base was called very hard to steal from after a theft nearly failed.
- A rich layered base was also expected to draw several players at once.
Use that as target selection, not as a damage chart. No wall hit points are published. If you cannot name a gap, a low side, or a reason you will get back out, roll your own plant instead.
Leave with the plant
You keep only what you escape with. A plant dropped, blocked, or taken back on the way out is not added to your base. After a successful steal, place the plant inside your own base. An inventory plant is not the same as a placed plant sitting on a defended tile.
While you are the one being raided
Log off with plants inside the box, not outside it. Height and wire buy time. They do not make a base impossible to enter. If you sealed every wall, remember you also have to remove a section to get back in and answer a raid.
No script, hitbox, or floor trick is part of this guide. If a plant will not come with you, the raid failed under the rules above.
